This AOC D2357PH is one of the most slimmest monitors I have ever came across. It’s only 9mm thick (although the area for the inputs are a bit thicker), there’s almost no bezels, and the design is just slick and elegant. All the buttons on the monitor are touch buttons and they are very responsive to the touch. This 1920×1080 Full HD monitor includes 2 HDMI, 1 VGA and 2 audio ports, and it can display passive 3D images without the need for additional software. My favorite thing about the D2357PH is probably that it can be mounted on a stand or just sit by itself, although I prefer it without the stand because it has more of a zero gap look, kind of like a picture frame as you can see below….
This is definitely one of my favorite designed monitor due to its razor sharp looking and extremely thin design that can fit anywhere and look good while doing it. You will quickly find yourself wanting thinner and more minimalistic accessories to match the premium look of this monitor, especially if you’re using it without the stand. In my experience, it looked 100% better sitting on its own but it was a bit hard to use because of the angle it was at, and the height of my desk so I ended up using the stand.

As listed above, there are 2 HDMI ports, which allows for dual HDMI input as well as 1 VGA port. At the time of purchase, I was using the 2 HDMI ports for my laptop and Playstation 3 and the VGA port for my laptop’s second monitor. This resulted in a dual monitor setup, in which I could quickly switch on of the monitors to the Playstation 3 and keep using the computer as normal. Switching between HDMI inputs is as simple as hitting a button and is definitely convenient. Another cool feature of the monitor is that it includes built in speakers, so whatever HDMI input is in use, it plays the audio from it through the monitor. However, I don’t use these built in speakers as I have everything connected to an external sound system via the Audio Out port at the back.
The amount of features this monitor packs is countless and a 3D glasses is included in the box. I remember the first thing I did, was hook up the Playstation 3 to it, and played GTA 5 in 3D! The monitor also goes in standby mode once not in use so you don’t have to keep worrying about turning it off once you’re done using it.
In conclusion, I think this monitor is a great at the price I paid which was $1595TT at the time. Although this exact model monitor is not available on Amazon, you can click here to see some similar ones and check out the reviews from other customers.
This monitor is fun to use and looks awesome and premium wherever it sits. Below is an image of my setup with this monitor sitting on its own with the “zero gap” look.
