Bought a flagship phone in 2014 and in the market for a good looking case regardless of how protective it is? These are the most attractive cases you can find for the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Google Nexus 5.
HTC One (M8)
SUPACASE – Unicorn Beetle Hybrid Protective Case
This case caught my eyes mainly because how well it fits into the design of the already beautiful HTC One M8. It’s made of TPU/PC. This is probably one of the unique cases that offer good protection while also keeping a great design and not taking too much away from the device.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid HTC One M8 Case
This Ultra Hybrid case definitely keeps the clean and minimalistic design of the HTC One M8, while taking almost nothing away from the design. It is available in many colors and is great for those who want mainly pocket scratch protection.
SUPACASE Premium Protective Hybrid Bumper Case
While the others took almost nothing away from the original slick design, or add to it, this one compliments the M8’s design by adding the black outlines to the main areas. In addition, with the M8 being a relatively slippery device, this case can provide some added grip.
SUPACASE – Ultra Slim Flexible TPU Case
Although this case covers up the device, it looks extremely premium. The TPU material will also provide more than reasonable protection and the matte/shiny mix for the antenna breaks replicates the design almost identically. If you’re looking for full protection while retaining the premium look, this can be the best option.
Samsung Galaxy S5
Hyperion Titan 2 Piece Hybrid Case
While it looks a bit unusual, this case provides a unique design while providing a TPU/Hard Shell hybrid for ultimate protection. In addition to the design and protection, it also includes a belt clip which might be a requirement for some.
Spigen Tough Armor Case
This case provides dual layer protection, while looking premium. Although it causes a substantial amount of bulk, if you’re prone to dropping your phone, this is a good way to protect it while keeping a premium look.
Spigen Neo Hybrid Case
This case is one of my ultimate favorite cases for any device that I own. It is also available for the iPhone 5/5S as well as the Nexus 5 (as you will below) and it provides a really good level of protection and feels extremely premium and sturdy. The specific case for the Galaxy S5 retains those dimples on the back to suit the device.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid Bumper Case
This is the case I currently use on my Nexus 5. It leaves the back of the device clear so you can show off that elegant NEXUS logo and if you don’t want to, it comes with 2 patterns included in the box that you can attach to the back of the case. You can also print out custom designs to fit into the back of the phone to show through the clear material. It provides reasonable coverage and protection and the buttons are extremely responsive.
Spigen Neo Hybrid
Similar to the Neo Hybrid for the Galaxy S5 above, this one has the same design but that back of the cases doesn’t have the dimples like the S5. It provides a sturdy fit and premium feel in the hand, but it does add some bulk to the phone. The buttons are very “clicky” and feel similar to if you were using the phone without a case.
Caseology Shock Absorbent TPU Case
This case fits the phone like a glove, while looking really good due to its carbon fiber-like pattern on the back. It comes in a range of different colors and the new version includes a wider cutout by the power button area for easy access to the sim tray, a feature which the other cases lack. It offers a reasonable amount of protection without adding too much bulk to the device.
TUDIA Wav-Hybrid Case
Although this case is a bit bulky, it provides great drop protection due to its thickness. The back of the case is the reason why it was included on this list. It has a really unique design which is offered in multiple colors and definitely looks really attractive.
If you own any of these cases or are about to purchase one, be sure to leave it in the comments below or in the new forum section on T3CHSMASH to start a discussion with other members. Personally I prefer the more simple and clean designs like the Neo Hybrid by Spigen which I currently use on my devices.
