When the OnePlus One hit the market, it offered something that was very special. A flagship smartphone that was a fraction of the cost of competing smartphones at the time. It’s safe to say this started a new wave of really solid budget smartphones.
With the OnePlus 3, yet again they dropped an extremely solid device. The premium aluminum build along with precision cutouts, amazing dash charging, extremely fast fingerprint sensor and solid performance makes for an almost perfect device overall.
On November 15th, the company is expected to release the OnePlus 3T, according to leaks. The 3T is expected to be a slightly beefed up version of the OnePlus 3 so we shouldn’t expect any huge changes other than spec bumps.
We can however expect to see the Snapdragon 821 since a little while ago the company tweeted that it would be releasing the SD821 to their consumers on the 15th, which could possibly be a confirmation of it being in the 3T. We can also expect them to stay with an AMOLED display, and although 1080p is quite fine and makes for great battery life, hopefully it’ll be sporting 2K this time around.
In addition to these things, we can also possibly look forward to ~4000mAh battery, 8GB RAM, new version of OxygenOS based on Android Nougat. However, keep in mind none of these things are 100% confirmed.
