We’ve heard a lot in the past about what Samsung might offer with the next iteration of its phablet series with words like Quad HD being thrown around. Until now though, we haven’t had any visual leaks displaying the hardware itself.
The images below are the Note 4 leaked images, and were found on GSMArena and it shows us a device that can more than likely be the Galaxy Note 4. We get an image of the front, back and packaging that looks somewhat legit.
On the front, we can notice that this device fits in with the current Note generation’s general look with the Samsung logo at the top, the hardware home button, and the little S-Pen slot at the bottom.
While the camera module on the back resembles the rest of the Note family, the new leather texture looks a but different and there’s no doubt that those edges look like the aluminum chamfered edges that we get on the iPhone 5/5S as well as the HTC One M7/M8. Does this mean that the Note 4 will be wrapped in metal?…
Our final leaked image here is the packaging/box. The “4” definitely looks like the type of style we can expect to see on the official packaging, but is it? What seems strange is that the packaging doesn’t resemble the S4, S5 or Note 3 with the wooden look and the artwork looks somewhat unofficial.
What do you think of these leaks? Do they look credible to you? I think they can be to an extent, but the packaging is a real dealbreaker here if I had to believe these images. The metal surrounding wil really add to the build quality of this device since the previous Samsung devices were infamous for their plastic build. This might be a great mix. However, only time can tell what we are getting with the Note 4, so hopefully the Unpacked Event on September 3rd will answer all of our questions. Feel free to leave your thoughts below and let me know what you think.
