Interested in getting the OnePlus One? If you don’t know what it is, feel free to check out the earlier post explaining in more detail, what exactly is the OnePlus One. To sum up the specs, this device sports a 5.5″ 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB Ram and the most amazing part is you can get the 16GB model for $299US while the 64GB model will cost you $349US which is a better device for the price when compared to the Nexus 5.
What makes the phone special and sets it apart from other flagship phones beside just the price, is that this phone runs Cyanogenmod out of the box, which means there’s no need to root and flash a custom rom/recovery to get all the customization features that these roms include. Features such as double tap to wake, which usually requires a special kernel to acheive on other devices, are here out of the box with some additional features also.
The downside however, is its invite system. To get this phone, you MUST have an invite to purchase it which is extremely hard to acquire, but should you go through the trouble of trying to get an invite? Is this device worth the trouble? Check the video below and decide for yourself.
